Our client is a multi-award-winning venue that serves some of the county's finest food. With an excellent reputation, it is understandable that the brigade is of a very high standard. Any Pastry Sous Chef looking to apply for this position must be an excellent team player to fit within this small but passionate brigade.
As Pastry Sous Chef, you will be helping to manage a small team and will be in charge of producing the Pastry requirements, both sweet and savoury, for this high-end restaurant.
This food-led operation is headed up by an excellent, well-respected Head Chef who has won numerous awards for his modern and technical approach to food.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a proven background as a pastry chef
Preferably have a Rosette or Michelin background
Be responsible for delivering high standards
Be passionate about Pastry and modern cooking techniques
Be able to work under pressure
Have excellent organisational skills
This role is accessible via public transport; however, accommodation can also be available for the right pastry chef
