Overview
Role: Phone Shop colleague at Tesco Mobile, Uckfield. Salary starts from £12.87 per hour and increases to £14.08 per hour for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 12 guaranteed hours per week. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the stated times, with 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. We support flexibility for colleagues and encourage you to apply even if your available times do not exactly match the advertised times.
Availability
Advertising window shows the following typical operating times: - Tue: 10:00–19:00 - Wed: 10:00–19:00 - Thu: 10:00–19:00 - Sat: 09:00–19:00
Responsibilities
* Delivering a great shopping trip for customers daily, following opening and closing routines, ensuring facilities are in good working order and accessible to customers, and listening for and acting on customer feedback.
* Creating a positive impression for customers, modelling high standards of dress and readiness to serve.
* Following service culture within your department, modelling helpful and friendly service behaviours and showing enthusiasm to do what’s right for customers.
* Protecting the legal brand by delivering legal compliance and safe practices, and demonstrating due diligence in your department.
* Supporting your manager to control costs, maintain stock record accuracy, and be prepared for stock control routines.
