Job Title: Junior Energy Transition Financial Analyst
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
About the Role:

Combining expertise in finance, strategy, and clean technology, they deliver impactful solutions to address climate change challenges. They seek a motivated Junior Climate Finance Analyst to join their team and contribute to their mission of driving decarbonisation through data-driven financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support investments in renewable energy and sustainable technologies.
* Perform ESG and sustainability risk assessments, integrating non-financial metrics into valuation models.
* Assist in preparing carbon footprint reports, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions analysis, for clients.
* Support the development of client decarbonisation strategies, including cost analysis and implementation plans.
* Build and maintain financial models (e.g., DCF, Monte Carlo, scenario analyses) to evaluate investment opportunities.
* Provide market insights on investment strategies, climate policies, and emerging technologies.
* Research clean technology investments, identifying opportunities and risks in emerging markets.
* Collaborate with teams to align with sustainability goals and client objectives.
* Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
* Strong academic background in finance, economics, or sustainability.
* MSc in Climate Change, Management, and Finance (preferred); BSc in Economics, Finance, or related fields.
* Experience in financial modelling (DCF, WACC, scenario analysis).
* Proficiency with tools like Excel, Bloomberg, Python.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Passion for sustainability and climate change challenges.
* Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is advantageous.
* Familiarity with ESG principles and carbon credit trading is beneficial.
* Experience researching clean technology investments or assessing risks in emerging markets.
