An opportunity has arisen within our Alloy Laboratory department at our Exeter site for a Laboratory Chemist. This role operates on a 3-shift rotation, and reports to the Laboratory Supervisor.
Your main responsibilities will include;
1. Calibrate and setup both new and existing instruments.
2. Maintain optimal performance of instrumentation.
3. Write, review and oversight of analytical methods,
4. Train lab technicians.
5. Provide technical support to manufacturing facilities.
6. Participate in improvement projects.
7. Maintain lab systems to ISO17 standards and be able to interpret and apply ISO guidelines to lab processes.
