Overview
You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of a Nonlinear Structural Analysis Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:
* Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Wing Structure, to support in-service issues.
* Nonlinear "Virtual Test" Simulations to support Aircraft Research programmes and Early Development programmes.
* Use of Advanced Numerical Simulation packages like Abaqus, 3DX, Hyperworks and Nastran.
* Learn how to correctly identify and simulate the physics of Aircraft Structural behaviour and to develop the Engineering judgement required to understand the results of our simulations.
* Learn about our aircraft, their design, manufacture and in-service support.
* Have the opportunity to gain experience in other departments like Research, Design, Materials, Structures Test, Aerodynamics and Manufacturing.
* Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. Throughout the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of a Nonlinear Structural Analysis Engineer!

You will join a broader Airbus Global Graduate community and participate in a dedicated development week with peers and senior leaders.

* A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study. Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Structures Analysis.
* Strong verbal and written communication in English.
* A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
* The ability to be self-aware and a wish to take ownership of your development. This job requires awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
