TfGM is focused on improving reliability, sustainability and value for local communities. We’re now looking for a Fleet Services Officer to join our Engineering Team. This role will support the management of TfGM’s Zero Emission Ancillary Fleet and contribute to the oversight of the Bee Network bus fleet of around 1,700 vehicles, including the ongoing transition to a fully zeroemission fleet. Your role As a Fleet Services Officer, you’ll play a key part in delivering effective and sustainable fleet management across TfGM. You’ll support the development and application of bestpractice fleet management strategies to ensure the Bee Network Ancillary Fleet is managed efficiently throughout its full lifecycle. You’ll also contribute to the management of the Bee Network bus fleet and support TfGM’s plans to move to a fully zeroemission bus fleet by 2030. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of internal teams, operators and suppliers, helping to ensure contractual obligations are met while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. What a typical day might look like No two days are the same, but the role is hands on and operational, with a strong administrative and planning focus. On a typical day, you might be: Booking vehicles in for repairs or scheduled maintenance Maintaining and updating maintenance schedules to ensure vehicles remain compliant and operational Checking driver licence records and supporting compliance processes Liaising with suppliers, operators and internal colleagues to coordinate vehicle availability Managing records, systems and documentation to ensure accurate audit trails A good level of background knowledge in fleet operations or maintenance planning will help you feel confident in the role, alongside a willingness to learn and ask questions.
