Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for someone confident supporting users with mobile and desktop applications. We need someone who can guide non-technical users through app installation and day-to-day usage. We require basic troubleshooting skills for common device and application issues. We need good general computer literacy and experience using standard business software. We require the ability to travel to operational sites and provide face-to-face user support. Experience providing user training or onboarding support is desirable. We need someone who can identify issues that require escalation to the IT Helpdesk. Experience using all Microsoft packages is required. A valid UK driving licence is required. Responsibilities: We will support the smooth and efficient operation of company-issued devices and applications used by field operatives. We will manage and support the full device and app ecosystem, including onboarding and offboarding employees. We will ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. We will provide technical support to end users. We will manage the lifecycle of all company-issued devices, including iPads and tablets. We will spend around 60% of the role in the field across the West and North. We will monitor and troubleshoot device and application performance issues. We will proactively identify and implement improvements to device and app functionality and user experience. We will provide training to field operatives on the use of company-issued devices and applications. We will act as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries related to devices and applications. We will maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all company-issued devices. We will reconcile device inventory with Welsh Water records. We will track and report on device damage and associated costs.
