Overview

Copy & PR Executive role at edyn.

This role is the voice of the brand across all written touchpoints, from press releases to social captions to campaign messaging. The Copy and PR Executive will bring creativity, clarity, and personality to our communications, supporting both brand storytelling and earned media efforts. Reporting to the Senior Marketing and PR Manager with a dotted line to the Social Media Manager, this is a pivotal role for a highly articulate communicator who thrives in fast-paced, culturally tuned environments.


Location & Hours

Based at our London offices 5 days per week, with core hours of 9-5 (40 hour working week). Flexibility required to travel across the UK and Ireland, depending on business needs.


Responsibilities

* Brand Copywriting: Write copy for digital, social, campaign, email, property, and brand materials.
* Maintain and evolve the edyn tone of voice across all communications.
* Collaborate with Design, Content, and E-Commerce teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
* Produce copy for event promotions, partner activations, and hotel openings.
* Draft press releases, media alerts, and interview prep materials.
* Support the Social Media Manager in executing earned media strategies.
* Assist in the maintenance of media lists, press kits, and journalist databases.
* Monitor media coverage and support reporting and analysis.
* Contribute to social copywriting and caption development in collaboration with the Social Media Manager.
* Assist in content planning and idea generation across platforms.
* Participate in brainstorms and cultural scans to inform tone and creative language.
* Assist in organising press events, media hosting, and influencer gifting.
* Maintain documentation such as style guides, message matrices, and tone toolkits.
* Support department-wide administrative needs as required.

Skills & Knowledge

* Exceptional writing and editing ability with strong attention to tone, grammar, and detail.
* Comfortable switching between editorial, marketing, and social styles.
* Naturally tuned into pop culture, design, and brand storytelling.
* Proactive communicator with strong time management and organisational skills.
* Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn across marketing disciplines.


Experience

* Minimum 1 year in copywriting, PR, or content creation roles.
* Portfolio of writing samples required.
* Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, fashion or design industries is a plus.
