Our well‑established Medicines Management team has a strong track record of delivering high‑quality outcomes across physical health, mental health and community services. Pharmacy Support Workers play a vital role in ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient supply of medicines across our large geographical footprint.
About the Role
We currently have 1.5 WTE permanent vacancies working within our Stores and Procurement teams based at Maghull Health Park.
Responsibilities
* In the Stores Team – receipt, storage and supply of medicines in line with regulatory standards; safe and effective stock management supporting patient care.
* In the Procurement Team – ordering, contracting and invoicing of all pharmaceutical products; cost‑effective purchasing and smooth service delivery per SOPs.
* Support the smooth running of the pharmacy dispensary, stores, procurement and distribution services.
* Ensure medicines are ordered cost‑effectively and supplied safely, accurately and in a timely manner.
* Participate in the provision of our extended pharmacy service.
* Obligated to participate in our 7‑day medicines supply service in line with hours of operation.
No previous experience is required – full training will be provided.
