Desirable Skills and Qualities Excellent written and verbal communication Creative lesson planning and delivery Confident in using data to improve outcomes Familiarity with the GCSE curriculum Knowledge of differentiation and adaptive teaching Ability to inspire and motivate learners Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to KS3 and KS4. Use data to inform planning and set challenging targets. Deliver both English Language and Literature lessons across a range of abilities. Support students with varying needs, including EAL and SEND. Prepare students for GCSE assessments with rigour and creativity. Mark work and provide timely, constructive feedback. Promote a love of reading and independent learning. Organise or contribute to extra-curricular activities such as reading clubs or poetry slams. Uphold the school's safeguarding and child protection procedures.
