4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
5. Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
7. Review and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance and value for money.
8. Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of procurement activities.
9. Resolve supply chain issues and mitigate risks effectively.
10. Support the Procurement & Supply Chain department in achieving its objectives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Buyer should have:
11. Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
12. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
13. Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
14. Ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
15. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
16. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for procurement management.
