Job Description
Work as an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse for a nationally recognised, specialist provider of Cancer Care. This is a community-based role covering Aberdeenshire, working via our agency on a temporary contract.
As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide oncology patients with a range of treatments in their own homes. This role offers 32 to 40 hour contracts per week, with guaranteed shifts, working 4 or 5 days per week. Contracts are issued on a 3 month basis, with flexibility to extend.
This role will involve seeing patients for:
* Bloods
* Toxicity assessments
* IV chemotherapy
* Oral chemotherapy
* Pump disconnections
* Line care
* IM and SC injections
* And related community oncology interventions

* Competitive hourly rate of £43 to £48 per hour based on experience
* Mileage expenses
* Monday to Friday role, approximately 8 hours per day
* Guaranteed shifts
* No bank holiday working
Requirements for this well-paid agency chemotherapy nurse position
* Active NMC Pin as a Registered Nurse
* Experience in Oncology, Haematology or Chemotherapy is essential
* Cannulation and venepuncture experience
* Full UK driving licence
* SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
