Job Description:
Teaching Assistant
Prospero has been approached by a forward-thinking primary school based in HG4, committed to providing outstanding opportunities for all students to enable them to reach their full potential. The school offers excellent teaching, support, and an inspiring curriculum enriched with the latest technology, helping students overcome diverse learning difficulties and challenges to grow in confidence and become successful, caring young adults.
The role involves assisting in Years 3/4. While experience with diabetic children is beneficial, it is not essential.
The Teaching Assistant will contribute to developing a strong, effective school focused on aspiration and attainment, through strong classroom practice and a firm belief in the school's role in developing future citizens. Under the guidance of a teacher, you will manage support in a specific curriculum area and lead efforts to support pupils overcoming learning barriers.
All staff will demonstrate philosophies characteristic of effective schools—commitment to education, pupils' rights and needs, and community development, fostering strong relationships with parents, partner schools, and the wider community.
