Job Overview
Eden Unit is a specialised Inpatient Service for the treatment of patients with severe eating disorders. It is a regional facility which takes referrals from Tayside, Grampian and Highland Health Boards as well as Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles. The Unit also incorporates a Day Program which is a transitional care facility for up to 4 patients, aiming to assist with the transition from Inpatient Service to Outpatient Services.
Position
We are seeking a motivated Band 3 Clinical Support Worker to support the current nursing team in all aspects of the running of this highly specialised facility. This post is fixed term for 12 months and will involve shift work both days and nights on a rotational basis. Knowledge of patients with mental health issues and/or eating disorders is required, however in‑house training will also be provided.

Working Hours and Pay
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
