Assistant Management Accountant
An internationally successful growing retail organisation based in Slough are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their established finance team. Reporting into the Group Management Accountant you will be responsible for preparing accounts to trial balance and providing reporting and reconciliations assistance for the management accounts team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts prepared up to Trial Balance for the US Company to include:
* Posting supplier invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
* Emailing remittances
* Posting and allocating bank transactions
Assistance with preparation of Management Accounts to include:
* Stock and profit reconciliations
* I/Co Reconciliations
* Payroll journal postings
* Accounting for Amazon - stock reviews and sales invoicing and reconciliations
* VAT returns
* Sales and margin reporting
* Preparation of management accounts for 2 companies
* Assisting with year-end audit requests
* Monthly analysis of expenses (procurement summary updated)
* Analysis of customer merchandising and promotional expenditure
* Payment tracker reviewed and reconciled
* Assisting with implementation of new processes and systems
* Other assistance to the management accounts team as required
Experience requirements:
* Sage 50 & 200 experience advantageous
* Advanced Excel User
* AAT Part Qualified or equivalent
* Amazon and online B2C sales knowledge
* Group / Intercompany experience
* Knowledge of foreign currency transactions
You will enjoy working in a supportive and friendly team that truly supports the development of the individual. This role is fully office based with car parking on site. The Hours of work are 8am - 4pm.
