Through amazing & continued brand growth, we’ve been opening up more and more of our beautiful little Mamas & Papas concession stores and now a partnership with Marks & Spencers (M&S). We’re therefore looking to recruit a CONCESSION STORE MANAGER for our Mamas & Papas concession store in Banbury within M&S, leading, inspiring & developing your Mamas & Papas concession team of 8 to create these magical moments for an incredible community of new & expectant parents across Banbury & surrounding areas.
These mini stores are perfect for an Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager from a true customer experience perspective looking to take that step up into running their own store & team, their way.
Or, a current Store Manager, passionate about customer experience, with so many ideas, wanting to work for a business in growth that’s not afraid to try new things.
We welcome applications from experience backgrounds that have managed similar sized retail operations or from individuals who have shown strong leadership and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the concession store team, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
Manage day‑to‑day store operations, including visual merchandising, inventory control, and cash handling.
Drive sales targets and work collaboratively with the M&S team to meet joint performance objectives.
Maintain store appearance and uphold brand standards for Mamas & Papas within the M&S concession environment.
Recruit, train, and coach staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing a retail store or equivalent leadership role.
Strong understanding of customer experience and sales principles.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
Experience in visual merchandising and inventory management preferred.
Ability to work as part of a partnership with a larger retailer and adapt to shared operating procedures.
