Reporting into the Creative Services Director, this Marketing Account Manager role will involve account management responsibilities and supervision of skilled professionals such as designers, copy writers, animators, event managers, etc.
You’ll be joining a small, friendly, close-knit team who manage all creative aspects.
You’ll work with a host of well-known global brands and smaller organisations, delivering individual projects ensuring profitability and growth within key accounts.
Projects will include print work, social media, presentations, animation and a variety of other design and event projects. You will work with designers and other skilled professionals to deliver your projects. You may also be expected to source specialist freelancers to fulfil key roles within projects that fall outside of the typical scope of work (e.g. web developers, digital designers, etc).
You will be responsible for managing project timescales and budgets from concept to completion ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
Alongside the role, you will focus on building their agency brands by planning and delivering digital content for our websites and social media accounts.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Responding to new enquiries and developing them into fee‑paying projects
* Turning client briefs into written creative briefs for the creative team
* Producing client proposals, negotiating cost estimates, and managing budgets and timelines
* Ensuring projects are delivered to meet or exceed the client’s expectations
* Serving as the main point of contact from conception to completion
* Generating ideas and delivering activities to grow client accounts and their profitability
* Building and developing strong client relationships
* Attending regular team meetings
* Managing designers and other skilled professionals required to deliver your projects
* Managing 3rd party resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
* Developing ideas and activities to build Purple Patch Group and Presentation Experts profile
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years creative agency experience at a similar level
* Personable, and able to work effectively with a variety of different people at all levels
* Work well under pressure, being flexible where you need to, and always remaining focussed on delivering client satisfaction
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Excellent communicator both verbal and written
* Care about delivering great work and delighting clients
* Able to juggle multiple projects and clients, remaining resilient and positive
* Ability to travel to an office location near Bournemouth at least twice a week, working effectively from home or remotely the rest of the time

£35-40k DOE
