The Sales Advisor is expected to maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times, demonstrating a helpful, polite, and courteous manner when interacting with customers, colleagues, and retail partners. The role is predominantly customer-facing and involves engaging with shoppers to understand their needs, providing informed product consultations, and confidently recommending Vuse products best suited to each customer. The objective is to encourage purchase through excellent service and product knowledge. As the Vuse Shop is located within a major travel hub at Victoria Train Station, an understanding of a wide range of customer types and the ability to adapt communication styles accordingly is essential. Additionally, as the Shop-in-Shop operates within a WHSmith store, a positive, collaborative approach with the WHSmith team is key to ensuring a seamless and successful retail environment. The responsibilities for a Shop in Shop Retail Sales Advisor are promoting and increasing sales, customer care and administration all of which will result in incremental Sales for Vuse and WHSmith's. THE ROLE: SALES: · Develop strong working relationships with WHSmith colleagues, continuously enhancing both your own and their knowledge of the Vuse brand and product range. · Maximise sales opportunities by creating a positive and engaging impact with all commuters and shoppers. Proactively approach customers with a friendly smile and a clear benefit-led introduction to Vuse products. The more customers you engage and support, the higher the conversion rates achieved. · Ensure maximum visibility and awareness of the Vuse brand within the store and Shop-in-Shop. This includes correctly placing all point-of-sale materials to support product promotion and sales, and ensuring all literature and promotional materials are displayed at agreed locations. · Engage confidently with customers to explain the range of Vuse products available and provide informed guidance to support their purchasing decisions. · Report sales performance, customer interactions, and notable successes to your Line Manager in a timely and accurate manner. · Complete all customer interactions in full compliance with BAT/Vuse and WHSmith guidelines and standards. · Utilise all available sales tools effectively, including leaflets, samples, point-of-sale materials-and most importantly, your own product knowledge and interpersonal skills. · Be available for client or store visits at the request of the Line Manager. ADMINISTRATION & PAPERWORK: · Ensure all administration and paperwork are completed accurately, neatly, and in a timely manner, in line with company procedures. · Complete hourly reports for all in store findings during the activity times · Observe and report on all in-store activity, proactively suggesting improvements, new ideas, and more effective ways of working. · Monitor personal performance against KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) on a daily basis and implement a clear action plan to continuously improve results. CUSTOMER CARE A critical aspect of your role is to support all customers with their enquiries in a polite, professional, and confident manner.
