* Civil / Structural Engineer
* Duration: 6-months
* Location: Glasgow – 2 days office based
* Rate: £55 - £75 p/h (inside IR35)
Our client is a leading engineering consultancy who are looking for a Civil / Structural Engineer to join their energy business.
Responsibilities:
1. You will be responsible for the Delivery of allocated technical work elements and design activities for preparation of outline & detailed design drawings and associated other Construction- Ready documentation, all in accordance with the Company's quality, safety and project management/engineering procedures and controls.
2. Preparation of clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverables as well as checking or vetting all designs before issue. You will be technically innovative in solution of project demands.
3. You will be able to communicate at all levels including design management, team leadership/mentoring, client relationship skills and brief junior/technical team members as the team grows. Liaison with the Client, contractors, the supply chain and other project stakeholders.
4. Compliance with relevant H & S regulations and to follow company procedures, Communication Project Design leads, discipline leads and Arcadis Global Design Centres.
5. Proactively deliver technical solutions as guided by your Senior and Principal Engineers.
