We’re now looking for a Legal Counsel/Commercial Lawyer to join our business and play a key role in supporting our continued growth. The Role This is a broad and varied in-house role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor to the business. You’ll work closely with teams across PenCarrie, providing practical, commercially focused legal advice. Key responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts (including MSAs, NDAs, framework agreements and supplier/customer terms) Supporting the business with day-to-day legal queries across multiple functions Advising on data protection matters (including UK GDPR) and supporting best practice across the organisation Helping to identify and mitigate legal and commercial risk while enabling business growth Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear, pragmatic advice About You We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical ability with a down-to-earth, collaborative style UK qualified solicitor with around 2–6 years PQE (flexible depending on experience) Solid experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements Good working knowledge of data protection / UK GDPR Strong communication skills with the ability to translate legal language into clear, business-friendly advice Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders A proactive, team-oriented approach and a genuine interest in working closely with the business Why PenCarrie?
