Business Services Co-ordinator - Church Stretton Summary Important notice In line with our redeployment policy, we’ll prioritise applications from employees who are under formal notice of redundancy. We’re looking for a Business Services Co-ordinator to join us at Carding Mill Valley. This role is a key member of the property team with regular duty management shifts during the week and at least one weekend a month. You'll need to work some weekends and bank holidays, to work outside sometimes, and to support and sometimes travel to other National Trust sites. What it's like to work here Covering as much as 2,000 hectares of heather-covered hills with stunning views of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Welsh hills, this is a working common and is an important place for wildlife, geology and archaeology. There are paths for walking, cycling and horse riding, you can even drive to the top of the hill to take in the views. Click here for more information about this location What you'll be doing This is a very busy place, there’s a lot going on and you’ll find that no two days are the same. Generally, you’ll be supporting day-to-day operations, and being the first person that people see when they come into the office. Your advice and experience will be sought after by others beyond the office team. You'll be a champion of best practice when it comes to business support, and will confidently challenge the status quo when you think there’s a better way of doing something. Who we're looking for Applications from redeployees are assessed against the minimum criteria for the role. In your application, please provide details of how you meet the minimum criteria below: skilled at customer service and stakeholder support skills able to communicate and collaborate effectively experienced at maintaining records or managing information systems well organised and able to prioritise workload skilled at administration Criteria for all other applicants: experienced in giving business support, along with responsibility for facilities or office supervision good at communicating, both in writing and speaking able to work as part of a team, but also on your own initiative flexible and focused on people happy to multi-task and manage your own priorities and workload The package The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
