Solicitor (Grade A/B) – Clinical Negligence – Manchester. Hybrid working available with the flexibility to work from home and collaborate in-office when needed.
Join our leading Clinical Negligence team at 4COM (4Communication B.V). This is a Senior Solicitor role offering autonomy to handle complex cases from start to finish within a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities
* Main Responsibilities: Providing support, guidance and assistance to the team to deliver outstanding service to customers; proactive and commercial case management and progression; supporting the Team Leader in ensuring the delivery of the team\'s financial performance KPIs; effective and thorough time recording.
* Responsible For: Discussing and agreeing case tactics and planning with the Team Leader and team members; identifying cases ready for LOC, settlement and service; ensuring relevant information is collected to progress cases; managing a caseload proactively; coordinating progression of cases with internal and external parties; drafting legal documentation including LOC and letters of instruction; negotiating settlements and issuing/serving proceedings when required; overseeing team documentation and correspondence; advising on technical issues arising from cases.
Essential Skills And Experience
* Recent experience of handling a case load
* 8 years+ PQE or equivalent experience in Clinical Negligence
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong drafting and communication skills
* Excellent IT skills especially Microsoft Office, Proclaim and Excel
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment
* Ability to mentor and coach junior team members
* Flexible and committed to achieving results and meeting deadlines
* Excellent client care skills
