The Saga River Cruise Marketing team are seeking a new Marketing Manager to own the Customer Growth Strategy for all things River Cruise. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of all marketing communications for Rivers across a multi-channel function.
Role Responsibilities
1. Manage campaigns for Saga Rivers, delivering top-tier marketing communications in an organized, timely, and effective manner.
2. Develop marketing plans to meet business targets.
3. Coordinate relevant stakeholders across Marketing, CRM, and Digital teams, including leading planning and delivery meetings.
4. Plan cross-channel activity across PR, email, DM, website, and paid media channels.
5. Collaborate with CRM and Digital teams to create seamless customer journeys and content.
6. Support CRM and Digital teams with Test & Learn initiatives to optimize CPA.
7. Track, report, and analyze campaign performance, leading monthly reviews.
8. Test creative messaging for different customer cohorts to keep communications relevant.
9. Brief and manage ATL media plans, working with media agencies within budget.
10. Review competitor activity and explore new media partnership opportunities.
11. Manage content creation projects, including sourcing agencies and organizing shoots.
12. Assist Head of Marketing with marketing documents and activities.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience as a Marketing Manager in omni-channel, B2C environments, preferably in travel and cruises, especially European Waterways.
* Proven ability to manage six-figure marketing budgets.
* Strong project management and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
* Self-starter with creative flair and solutions-oriented mindset.
* Knowledge of industry trends and applying insights to improve performance.
* Experience in large consumer-facing organizations, ideally in travel sector.
* Strong commercial awareness and growth mentality.
