The Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and hardworking staff team.
We are looking for a cheerful, committed, and talented individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and well-being. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all pupils receive high-quality care, are kept safe, and experience a rich and stimulating curriculum tailored to their individual needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing school environment, supporting pupils across the school, providing short-term teacher cover, and making a real difference in children’s lives. The role is particularly well-suited for someone looking to gain valuable experience before pursuing a career in teachingmany of our former Teaching Assistants have gone on to become qualified teachers.
Applicants should have a positive outlook, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly, both independently and as part of a team.

You will:
Have a passion for supporting children and families
Be qualified to NNEB/BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or willing to working towards
Be reflective, caring and emotionally resilient
Be confident to cover whole classes when required
Have the ability to motivate children through good practice
Have effective, clear communication and interpersonal skills
Have at least a grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Have a good record of punctuality and attendance
