Role Description
Duties
* Manage the conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
* Conduct thorough property searches and due diligence to identify any potential issues.
* Drafting documents, letters and contracts tailored to the client’s individual needs.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the conveyancing process.
* Provide clients with clear advice on their rights and responsibilities during the transaction.
* Keep up-to-date with changes in property law and regulations to ensure compliance.
* Manage a high-volume caseload as delegated by the work allocation team.
* Provide excellent client service to ensure the values of the firm are being always represented.
Skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document preparation and communication.
* Have extensive knowledge and experience in residential conveyancing law.
* Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to engage with clients and stakeholders professionally.
* Highly organised with a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation.
* IT literate with the ability to adapt to new software systems as required.
* Work effectively on own as well as with other team members.
