We particularly encourage applications from candidates who are underrepresented in our workplace, including individuals from global majority backgrounds, people with disabilities, LGBTQI+ individuals, and women, especially for Grade 9 and 10 roles.

This fixed-term post is part of an NIHR-funded study: DAMPen-D II, which aims to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of a clinical guideline implementation strategy (CLECC-Pal Delirium) to improve early detection, management, and prevention of delirium in palliative care units. The study involves data collection from clinical records, public involvement activities, and the drafting of reports and academic papers.
The study is led by Prof. Mark Pearson and Prof. Fliss Murtagh from the Wolfson Palliative Care Research Centre, part of Hull York Medical School. The centre offers excellent opportunities for career development in palliative care and implementation research. The post-holder will work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team committed to high-quality research.
