Workshop Supervisor Vacancy in Kidderminster
1. Salary: £45,000 basic per annum – OTE £47,000
2. Hours: 45 hours per week, 12:30 – 22:00
3. Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Workshop Supervisor to lead a late-shift team. This role combines hands-on vehicle repair with supervisory responsibilities, supporting technicians and ensuring efficient, high-quality work throughput.

Key Responsibilities as a Workshop Supervisor:
16. Perform major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other vehicles
17. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance services (tyre rotations, oil changes, etc.)
18. Support and supervise repair teams, helping diagnose and plan repairs efficiently
19. Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness, including safe handling of oil and dust
20. Keep accurate records of all vehicles repaired or serviced
21. Provide emergency repair services for clients when required
22. Complete necessary documentation, including warranty claims or escalation to management
Requirements of the Workshop Supervisor:
23. Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI Qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
24. Ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA standards
25. Current, full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
26. Strong leadership and team-support skills
27. Hands-on experience with HGVs and trailers
