Full Job Description
We are seeking an organised, forward-thinking New Development Plumbing and Heating Engineer, who can deliver consistently high standards of workmanship to join our dynamic, growing team.
The role would be responsible for resolving plumbing defects for newly built homes dealing with new design challenges within a residential development.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems. Post-handover to the homeowner, ensuring all plumbing systems function properly and meet building regulations, primarily focusing on thoroughly investigating and rectifying any issues during the defect liability period.
Duties include, but not limited to :
· Remedials
· 1st / 2nd Fix installation
· Upgrading existing heating systems
· Commissioning work
· Air source heat pump and boiler issues
· Underfloor heating repairs
· Material issues such as leaks, burst fittings
· Towel rails and radiators
· Guttering repairs
· Repair gas pipes and fittings
· Boiler/cylinder/ASHP servicing
· Address customer concerns regarding plumbing functionality and explain technical aspects in understandable terms
A daily schedule (subject to changes) along with job details will be provided by the in-house team. Accurately record details of identified defects, including photos and descriptions as well as comprehensive records of repair activities.
Punctuality and quality of Workmanship is key. Excellent communication skills are required to interact effectively with homeowners, addressing concerns and providing clear information. You should also be able to handle difficult situations, including dealing with customer complaints confidently.
· Monday to Friday / Full time – you will average 40 hours per week

Requirements
· At least 5 years' experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer
· Full UK Driving Licence
· DBS Check
· Gas Safe Registered
· Air Source Heat Pump (preferred not essential)
· Computer literate
· Health and Safety knowledge
· Good communication skills
· CSCS (preferred)

· NVQ 2 or equivalent
