Stirling Educational Psychology Service (EPS) seeks to appoint a motivated and dynamic individual to the post of Educational Psychologist within our team. You will be a highly skilled and values led professional who is passionate about psychology and improving outcomes for all children and young people through equity and excellence.
Stirling Educational Psychology Service offers induction, support and supervision for new members of staff. There is a strong focus on staff wellbeing and professional development.
All staff have opportunities to engage in and lead on development work as well as having their own allocation of educational establishments to link with.
The service is integral to the Children’s Service, providing valuable opportunities for all staff to use their psychological skills and knowledge in contributing to and leading on, local and national priorities with a range of partners and stakeholders.
Stirling Educational Psychology Service currently supports delivery of a number of key priorities from the Schools Learning and Education Plan in collaboration with others with a focus on evidence based practice. Enhancing mental health and wellbeing
Applications are invited from qualified Educational Psychologists and those who are in the process of completing their QEP. Registration with the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC) is required.
This is made up of a 0.5FTE permanent post as well as a 0.3FTE temporary post until June 2027.
