* Self Employed Cleaning position .
* To perform high quality cleaning procedures, whilst working in a safe and effective manner.
* To ensure that all areas of the practice are regularly cleaned, paying attention to the practice policy in respect of infection control and Health & Safety.
* Use a range of cleaning items and products, following C.O.S.H.H. guidelines at all times which we will provide.
* You will need to provide your own cleaning uniform/overalls as required.
Key Tasks:
* To clean, vacuum, tidy, mop and polish communal areas of the practice such as corridors, kitchens, staff areas, waiting room, reception and toilets to a high standard.
* Disinfect frequently touched surfaces in the practice
* Empty designated waste bins
* Ensure appropriate use of any cleaning products
* Ensure appropriate colour coded cleaning equipment is used
* Ability to use a ladder for high level cleaning i.e. of top of cupboards
* Obey all confidentiality and Data Protection guidelines and follow practice policies correctly
* Key holder - may be required to secure the practice
Beneficial Experience:
* Experience of cleaning a healthcare environment is desirable
* To be familiar with Confidentiality and Data Protection Acts
* To be familiar with C.O.S.H.H
