Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: £90–£110 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Full-Time / Part-Time
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant seeking an opportunity to support and inspire young learners?
GSL Education are inviting applications for Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming schools across Nottinghamshire. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students’ learning and development in a positive environment.
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Level 2 TA), you will be a key support to teachers and students in the classroom. You will help create a positive and stimulating learning environment, providing academic, emotional, and social support to students of varying abilities.
Key Responsibilities of a Level 2 TA:
* Support teaching and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher
* Work with individuals and small groups of children to reinforce learning
* Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement during lessons
* Help monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
* Provide supervision during break and lunch times when needed
* Support students with basic pastoral care and emotional needs
What we need from a Level 2 Teaching Assistant:
* A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
* Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary/secondary school setting is preferred.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* A willingness to take initiative and work as part of a team
* Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
* Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
