We're recruiting for an Infrastructure Architect to join a globally recognised, high-performance engineering organisation operating at the very highest level of innovation and technical excellence.

The Opportunity
This is a hands-on Infrastructure Architect role not managerial. You'll stay close to the technology while shaping long-term infrastructure strategy and mentoring junior engineers within a small, highly capable Core Technology & Security team.
You'll have genuine ownership, autonomy, and the chance to influence the future direction of enterprise infrastructure in a performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, evolve, and optimise core infrastructure across networking, storage, virtualisation, and cloud
Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical challenges
Contribute to long-term infrastructure planning and architectural roadmaps
Mentor and support junior team members
Maintain high standards of performance, resilience, and security
What We're Looking For
Strong core infrastructure background
Networking knowledge around CCNA level
Experience across storage, virtualisation, and cloud platforms
Experience working within small-to-mid-sized IT environments
Comfortable operating independently in a fully onsite role
A technically curious, solutions-focused mindset
What's On Offer
£85,000–£100,000 basic salary
