ICT / Computer Science Teacher – Gillingham (Easily commutable from Shaftesbury, Mere, Sturminster Newton, Blandford & Warminster)

Are you an ICT or Computer Science Teacher who enjoys creating a classroom where curiosity and creativity thrive? A friendly and forward‑looking secondary school in the Gillingham area is seeking a dedicated ICT / Computer Science Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

The Role
You will deliver engaging and accessible lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students build:
* confidence in core ICT skills
* understanding of coding and computational thinking
* familiarity with key software and digital tools
* analytical, problem‑solving and creative approaches to technology
You will join a department that shares ideas, resources and best practice.
Who We’re Looking For
* QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Ability to teach ICT and/or Computer Science across KS3 and KS4
* Strong lesson planning and classroom delivery skills
* Positive behaviour management and clear communication
* A commitment to raising standards and building confidence in learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
