THE JOB We’re looking for an Intermediate MEP Planner to join a well-established and respected M&E contractor supporting major construction projects across the Eastern region, including Cambridge, Essex, and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for a planning professional who wants to progress their career and play a vital role in the delivery of innovative and complex mechanical and electrical (MEP) solutions. Your duties include: * Develop, maintain and update MEP programmes using Asta Powerproject (essential) * Support senior planners and project teams with programme development from pre-construction to delivery * Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving planning issues * Attend site meetings, support progress reporting and manage key programme risks * Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timelines are aligned with project goals * Assist with tender programmes and construction phase plans * Prepare written reports and communicate clearly with both internal stakeholders and external clients WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Experience working in a construction planning or MEP planning role (either contractor or consultancy) * Proficiency in Asta Powerproject (essential) * Strong written and verbal communication skills – you’ll be working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders * Knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts (preferred) * Familiarity with Bluebeam software is a bonus * A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities If you are interested in this opportunity hit “apply” or contact Craig Humphrey at Xenon Recruitment today!
