What you’ll do
Vodafone Business Group is undergoing significant commercial transformation amidst an evolving Group portfolio of OpCos and Partner Markets (B2T). It is looking to provide greater cost transparency and a simplified commercial model to OpCos, whilst also identifying further monetisation opportunities from B2T. To enable this change, detailed work is being undertaken to better define the services provided by Vodafone Business Group, develop a comprehensive understanding of the associated OpCo costs, and create a series of commercial offers to sell into B2T.
The role will initially support the VB Commercial function in helping define its B2T offer, including establishing a clear view of demand for the key services that have been identified, benchmarking them versus the external market, developing pricing principles, and supporting with the definition of appropriate commercial flows.
Role scope:
• Work across VB Commercial, B2T and the wider Commercialisation programme to identify the scale of demand from B2T for VB Commercial services;
• Conduct price and feature benchmarking of key services versus the external market;
• Create ‘bundles’ of services that best meet the market opportunity;
• Establish pricing principles for each bundle, including what the pricing unit should be, and the value, based on the demand and benchmarking exercises;
• Understand the variability of cost for each service, and make recommendations as to how VB Commercial might scale its offer to B2T – what an incentive model must look like;
• Work closely with B2T and Finance teams to establish principles around commercial.
Who you are
• Extensive commercial experience, including opportunity sizing, pricing, and proposition development;
• Strong financial acumen; comfortable working within complex financial rules and processes;
• Strategic mindset, highly numerate, with strong communication and presentation skills;
• Experience of Marketing, GTM, and Digital Transformation environments preferable;
• 10+ years commercial experience within tech/telco global organisation.
