Breakfast Club Assistant
Grade 5 | Approx. £2,822 per annum - pay award pending
Monday to Friday | 7:45am – 8:45am
Hall Orchard CE Primary School is looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast Club Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping pupils start their school day in a safe, happy and nurturing environment.
The successful candidate will support the Breakfast Club Organiser in delivering engaging activities and high-quality care for pupils before the start of the school day. Duties will include supervising children, preparing simple breakfasts and snacks, supporting play activities, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all pupils.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Has experience working with primary-aged children in a school, childcare or play setting
2. Has good communication and interpersonal skills
3. Works well as part of a team
4. Demonstrates empathy, patience and enthusiasm when supporting children
5. Has a good standard of literacy and numeracy
6. Understands safeguarding and health & safety responsibilities
7. Is willing to undertake relevant training, including Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid
