Support a Major Regional Transformation Through Strategic Comms
The West Midlands Growth Company is looking for a proactive and experienced communications professional to join our PR & Communications team as Stakeholder Communications Manager. This part-time role is a rare opportunity to help shape the narrative of a high-profile business transformation while also supporting regional tourism through the West Midlands Destination Development Partnership.
You’ll combine corporate storytelling with creative stakeholder engagement, crafting communications that bring people with us through change, while keeping partners, public bodies and internal audiences aligned and inspired.
What to Expect in This Role
Lead Stakeholder Comms: Develop and deliver clear, consistent messaging across public, private and academic partners as we transition into a new Economic Development Vehicle (EDV).
Support Business Transformation: Craft internal and external comms, briefing notes, messaging frameworks, and executive statements for a major organisational shift.
Communicate Tourism Strategy: Support the Destination Development Partnership’s stakeholder messaging and email campaigns.
Work With the C-Suite: Shape high-level communications, including speeches, letters, and stakeholder updates from senior leadership.
Develop Insightful Content: Produce detailed comms strategy, PowerPoint presentations, and visual reports to illustrate programme progress.
Engage Collaboratively: Liaise across departments to gather data and perspectives, supporting unified messaging and accurate reporting.
Track & Report Impact: Help evaluate communications performance and stakeholder engagement outcomes.
