Your Role

The EHC Assessment & Review Team in Stockport is seeking to recruit an Education Health and Care plan (EHCP) Coordinator to work within the EHCP Team in Stockport on a temporary basis for 12 months.

The successful candidate will support the EHC Assessment & Review Team with the coordination of its duties around the statutory Education, Health and Care needs assessment and review process.

This is a challenging and busy role within a friendly team.


About You

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and their families and have good organisation skills and a keen eye for detail.

This post is also open as secondment opportunity for Stockport Council Employees, however, you must seek the permission of your current manager prior to making an application.

The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment clearances including a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Stockport Council holds a Visa sponsorship licence but this can only be used for certain roles and this campaign does not currently qualify.
