The Product Director – RX Web (Pharmacy) is a pivotal and high-impact role within the business. Acting as the central hub between customers, technology, commercial teams, marketing, and leadership, the Product Director will own and lead the product strategy and roadmap for RX Web.
RX Web is a market-leading, web-based pharmacy system serving the UK community pharmacy sector. It plays a critical role in supporting dispensing workflows, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and commercial performance for pharmacies across the UK.
This role is responsible for translating market insight, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and commercial objectives into a clear, well-documented, and executable product roadmap. It requires a strong product leader with deep UK pharmacy domain expertise, commercial awareness, and the confidence to drive decisions, challenge assumptions, and lead cross-functional alignment.

RX Web
A leading web-based pharmacy management system serving UK community pharmacies, supporting dispensing, workflows, compliance, integrations, and commercial operations.
While the initial focus is on RX Web, the role may expand over time to include additional pharmacy-related products or services as the portfolio evolves.

Community pharmacy customers, pharmacy groups, industry bodies, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders across the UK pharmacy ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Product Strategy & Roadmap
Own, shape, and lead the RX Web product roadmap, ensuring it reflects market needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.

Maintain a strong, up-to-date understanding of the UK pharmacy sector, including funding models, operational pressures, regulatory obligations, and competitive dynamics.

Product Scoping & Definition (Hands-On)
Create and own clear written scope, feature definitions, and requirement documentation that sit between strategy and delivery. These documents act as the alignment layer between product, technology, commercial, and marketing teams.

Partner with marketing to support go-to-market activity, product launches, messaging, and competitive positioning.

Lead regular roadmap and product updates, clearly communicating priorities, trade-offs, risks, and decisions.

Person Specification
* Significant experience working with UK pharmacy software systems, ideally in:
* Product management or product leadership
* Commercial or go-to-market roles within pharmacy technology
* Deep understanding of the UK pharmacy sector, including operational, regulatory, and commercial dynamics.
* Experience working with community pharmacy groups or large pharmacy chains
* Experience in SaaS or web-based healthcare platforms
* Experience working closely with sales and marketing teams in competitive markets
