We are seeking an experienced and proactive Resourcing Lead to oversee role allocation and client management for a high-profile joint venture project based in Glasgow. Acting as the central point of contact between stakeholders and the resourcing team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient allocation of talent, smooth delivery of client requirements, and alignment of workforce planning with project goals.
This is a mid-senior level role, ideally suited to an individual with strong stakeholder management skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Role Allocation & Workforce Planning
* Manage the allocation of roles across the project, ensuring capacity aligns with demand.
* Monitor utilisation and workforce planning to optimise efficiency and minimise resourcing gaps.
* Ensure processes for role allocation are fair, transparent, and aligned to project priorities.
* Client & Stakeholder Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for client resourcing queries and workforce planning discussions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the joint venture.
* Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership on resourcing status, risks, and mitigations.
* Operational Delivery
* Oversee resourcing processes, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for both clients and candidates.
* Anticipate project requirements and proactively identify potential talent gaps.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and best practice across the resourcing function.
* Leadership & Collaboration
* Guide and support resourcing team members in role allocation and client engagement.
* Collaborate closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Project Delivery teams to ensure alignment.
* Foster a culture of clarity, accountability, and client focus.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a resourcing, workforce planning, or recruitment leadership role, ideally within a project or joint venture environment.
* Strong track record of client and stakeholder management at senior levels.
* Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery dynamics.
* Confident communicator with strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
* Proficient in workforce planning tools, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
