The Fostering Service within North East Lincolnshire is looking to recruit a Family Finder Coordinator for our children who need a fostering home. We are excited to be advertising this new role within our fostering service. We are a small, friendly service who remain committed to keeping children local, with our foster carers.
What will your day look like?
You will oversee, coordinate, and manage the day to day referrals for children requiring a fostering home. The post holder will have good insight into a child\'s needs alongside having a good understanding of the skills and experiences of our foster carers, to ensure we support children to be appropriately matched.
You will be required to attend planning meetings as required for children and contribute to matching decisions. You will be forward thinking and have a good insight into transition plans for children, to support upcoming availability.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a good communicator as you will be liaising with foster carers and Children\'s Services staff on a daily basis, seeking out additional information or, providing updates on any searches. You will be supported by social workers on the duty rota on a daily basis.
