National Account Manager – Foodservice
England - Hybrid/Remote - £50,000 - £60,000 + Car & Bonus
This isn’t one of those National Account Manager roles where you inherit a few accounts and just “keep them happy.”
You’ll have accounts to grow, new business to go after, and plenty of opportunity to make a name for yourself.
The role
You’ll be managing and developing foodservice accounts — from pubs and restaurant groups through to wholesalers — while also spotting where the next opportunity is coming from.
It’s a proper commercial role selling primarily chilled & frozen products. Not just relationship management.
You’ll be:
* Growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities
* Working closely with NPD, Marketing and Chefs to deliver on briefs
* Managing projects from concept through to launch
* Staying close to your customers — understanding what they need before they ask for it
* Keeping everything moving commercially (and yes, that includes the detail too)
What they’re looking for
* Proven sales or account management experience in foodservice
* Strong relationship builder who can also spot opportunities
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts
The setup
* Home-based with travel
* Roughly 3 days out with customers / sites, 2 days from home
* Hybrid, flexible, and not overly corporate
