You will work alongside a talented team of Service Designers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, Solution Architects, Developers and Quality Engineers to experiment, shape, test and validate new products and services that are there to create a better experience for our 25,000+ Deloitte employees.

Your approach will be agile and iterative, using Design Thinking to facilitate innovation and identify opportunities. As a creative at heart, you are a user-focused professional who spearheads innovation and lives the spirit of experimentation in our agile development lifecycle.

Your role will see you work across the end-to-end (e2e) design lifecycle, from concept ideation to final implementation, ensuring that all products deliver intuitive, engaging, and delightful user experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Working alongside our Service Designer and Product Managers to develop a deep understanding of the needs of our employees, to map out their frustrations relating to existing ‘as is’ processes or user experiences within specific existing technologies.
* Defining early-stage solutions to meet the needs of Deloitte employees using user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes to visually communicate your ‘to be’ ideas both to end users and internal teams.Sweating the details to keep Deloitte’s quality bar high in everything you create with a minimum expectation.
* You’ll be expected to conduct first-hand usability testing and user research to test your ideas and to gain valuable insights into user behaviour, preferences, and pain points that will inform your decision to iterate on, or shelve, your ideas.
* You’ll apply your deep understanding of design systems and atomic design principles and your experience of working with UX patterns and component-based libraries to develop detailed UX and interactive UI designs that delight our people.
* You will be expected to monitor key performance indicators to measure the impact and success of design initiatives you or members of your team have created. Interpreting product analytic reporting will not be unusual for you.
* In addition to the products, you have designed yourself, you will also be expected to conduct independent audits using the Neilson Framework of products built independently of your immediate team.
* Respectfully challenging the team whilst keeping the end user at the heart of the problem.
* You are an advocate for the importance of user experience across the organisation, fostering a user-centric mindset, and helping stakeholders understand human-centered design thinking.
* Communicating and building alignment with stakeholders across your projects, securing buy-in on your team's ideas and direction.
* You will support your craft lead to inspire, educate and excite your peer group to drive continuous improvement across the team.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

This is a critical role within the Digital Services team, and we are looking for an individual who is looking to challenge convention as well as raise the bar within the sphere of product design.

Your experience:

* You will have end-to-end Product Design or equivalent Experience. You've designed and shipped multiple net new products or features across various platforms in an agile environment.
* You have experience in conducting UX research, usability testing and facilitating sessions to get insights from users.
* You are comfortable with working with defined brand guidelines, but confident in pushing the UI boundaries as far as possible to create loveable and memorable interfaces.
* You can confidently present your ideas and tell a compelling story to the broader team and build relationships easily at all levels.
* You understand that good design is often a journey to identify the right thing to build, using early concepts and prototypes to help build conviction along the way.
* You have championed user-centric design principles within your current or past employers.
* Manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders simultaneously and can easily context switch and adapt your message and relationship-building skills based on the audience.

Technically you will have:

* Design and can rationalize your decisions clearly and credibly.
* You will be an expert in using Figma and have worked closely with engineering teams to ensure that the requirements and acceptance criteria for each element of your designs are understood and met the first time.
* You will have experience in Interaction Design and a good working knowledge of the Apple SwiftUI and Microsoft 365 design systems. Knowledge of ServiceNow and Salesforce design systems would also be beneficial but not essential.
* You will have deep experience in creating impactful UI Designs across both Native Mobile and Web applications. You're motivated to create outstanding visual designs that align with brand and design systems.
