We have a great opportunity for a Multi-skilled Engineer to join our team in Oxford.
As part of a static engineering team, you will assist in the efficient delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for completing a wide range of statutory and routine PPMs, as well as reactive activities, in line with specific contract Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
This role requires a Multi-skilled Engineer capable of delivering high-quality planned maintenance and reactive repairs across multiple disciplines, with a focus on compliance PPM. You should be qualified within a specific trade and highly competent in other trades commonly found within the FM environment.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure consistent delivery of Atlas engineering standards and competencies.
* Deliver Mechanical & Electrical PPM, reactive works, and compliance tasks.
* Maintain communication with the Client, colleagues, and the Atlas Team through feedback and updates.
* Contribute to providing a quality service aiming for 100% customer satisfaction.
* Ensure value for money by checking resources and materials are suitable for effective service delivery.
* Produce details of time and materials required for minor works for quoting.
* Report on performance to your Engineering Supervisor.
* Ensure safe delivery of all Atlas works, including those of service partners.
* Liaise with Account Support, Schedulers, Supervisors, and Sub-Contractors to deliver work within SLAs.
* Build and foster relationships with the Client and colleagues.
* Keep the Planon CAFM system updated via your device, ensuring all time is accounted for.
* Take ownership of your work quality, ensuring exceptional service.
* Carry out all reasonable requests from Atlas management.
* Cover call-out responsibilities out-of-hours when rostered.
About You
Minimum Qualifications, Certifications, and Training
* GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent.
* City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an M&E discipline (Gas, Electrical, AC, Plumbing, Carpentry).
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar environment involving multi-discipline building services.
* At least 1 year’s experience in a customer-facing environment.
* Background in engineering/property maintenance.
* Strong competencies in building services trades and ability to perform various activities within a building maintenance environment.
* Knowledge of operating and adjusting Building Management Systems (BMS).
* Experience in delivering L8 compliance maintenance.
* Experience in conducting emergency light test PPMs.
* Good understanding of office software and experience with asset/work management systems like Planon CAFM on Android tablets.
* Experience working with permits and adhering to H&S site rules in heavily permitted environments.
* Ability to manage priorities according to business needs.
