Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Worcester, is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in aerospace or precision engineering who is looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established and growing organisation.
The Role
Ensure compliance to AS9100, ISO9001 and customer quality requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
Support internal, customer and regulatory audits.
Develop and maintain quality systems, inspection standards and control processes.
Provide quality support across engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams.
Prepare and review FAIRs, PPAP documentation and quality reports.
Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance product and process quality.The Candidate
Previous experience as a Quality Engineer within aerospace, automotive or precision manufacturing.
Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001.
Hands-on experience with FMEA, APQP, 8D, CAPA and PPAP.
Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
