The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding the sales opportunities and profile of the Company in the Eastern Region and globally where opportunities arise.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and exploiting sales opportunities and maintaining a high Company profileAttending customer meetings and maintaining regular and frequent customer contactPreparing customer presentations, attending customer meetings, and maintaining regular and frequent customer contactMaintaining full awareness and thorough understanding of Company products and literatureProducing market intelligence, forecast (CRM) and budget information relevant to served customersProviding a consolidated monthly sales and activity report for the territory and complete installation history (market activity) database as requiredAssisting and advising with preparation of tender documentation and the creation and review of sales ordersFrequently liaising with other departments, primarily Inside Sales, Service and Engineering pertinent to day to day operations and orders in handBe prepared to travel on an ad-hoc basis to customers in the region as when required by the Sales Director and the business needsAcquiring and maintaining sound financial and commercial awareness of all aspects of general activity and client requirements in the territoryMaintaining an accurate record system of the customer base to include sales results, enquiries and developmentsAttending and assisting with relevant industry trade shows and coordinating and managing any Dril-Quip customer eventsQualificationsDegree in a Business or Engineering related discipline or equivalent experienceExtensive experience of oil and gas account managementExtensive sales experience, preferably including knowledge of Dril-Quip product linesExperience of managing multiple accounts across different geographiesStrong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
