Job Description:
Title: ER Partner
Location: London (with travel across London including Croydon, Enfield, and Tottenham; all travel expenses paid; approximately 1 day per week working from home)
Contract: 6-month FTC
Main responsibilities
* Manage casework through welfare and attendance meetings, guiding managers on sickness absence policies.
* Facilitate occupational health referrals, supporting employees' return to work and making reasonable adjustments.
* Maintain GDPR compliance by keeping accurate records and advising managers on absence cases and interventions.
* Produce absence management reports, identify key metrics, and collaborate with HR on risks and trends.
* Support HR projects and promote employee wellbeing, ensuring adherence to the Equality Act 2010 and consistent absence management.
Knowledge and skills
* Strong understanding of UK employment law.
* Experience managing absence-related ER cases, including long-term sickness and capability processes.
* Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend solutions.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to coach and advise managers.
* Experience working with Occupational Health and external stakeholders.
* Organizational skills to handle multiple cases effectively.
* Professionalism, discretion, and empathy in handling sensitive cases, coaching managers on attendance management.
