Job Title: SEMH Teacher

Pay rate: £160-£230 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

As a Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH Teacher), you will deliver tailored lessons and provide a structured, supportive environment to help pupils manage their emotions and achieve their potential.
Key Duties of SEMH Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons suited to pupils with SEMH needs.
* Support pupils in managing behaviour and developing positive coping strategies.
* Build strong, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and progress.
* Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning and emotional needs.
* Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback.
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour.
* Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
* Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach.
* Ability to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
