A top-tier global law firm is seeking a Senior PR Specialist to lead the PR strategy for one of its key groups. The role focuses on high-profile sectors such as Technology, ESG, AI, and Innovation. You will manage media outreach to protect and enhance the firm’s reputation, oversee communication for significant deals, and support strategic marketing and BD campaigns. This position is ideal for candidates with in-house or agency legal experience.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement media outreach plans.
* Manage media relations for key sectors in collaboration with the PR team.
* Oversee deal announcements, lateral hires, and reactive communications to safeguard the firm’s reputation.
* Coordinate with global teams to create content aligned with business development goals.
* Plan and execute crisis communication strategies.
* Prepare and brief lawyers for media interviews, providing media training.
* Support the firm’s social media presence with engaging content.
* Promote PR best practices and manage corporate communications, including crisis management.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in a busy press environment, preferably within professional services or a major firm, with strong media relationships.
* Experience leading impactful PR programs and internal communications.
* Exceptional writing skills, able to simplify complex information.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
