We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified English Teacher to make a genuine difference in our student’s lives. We are looking for an English teacher who has the creativity and passion to provide an outstanding education to our students and reignite a love of learning in young people who may have faced significant barriers to education.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
You’ll deliver engaging, adapted and individualised English lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to achieve recognised qualifications while developing the functional literacy, confidence and resilience they need for life beyond school.
A secure knowledge of teaching English Language along with a good awareness of, or willingness to learn, current AQA English GCSE and Functional Skills specifications is essential. Experience of working in a SEND environment or with SEND students would also be advantageous.
